The Spidor app
Spidor runs on your Mac. The websites you crawl, the pages it collects, your projects, client names, logos and reports are stored on your Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/Spidor/.
Spidor has no account and doesn't send your crawl data to us or to anyone else. When you crawl a site, Spidor connects to that site, the same way a browser would.
This website
spidor.app is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't set cookies for tracking.
If we add analytics, we'll use a privacy-friendly tool that doesn't use cookies, and update this page.
The light/dark choice you make on this site is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your browser.
The launch list
If you join the launch list, we store your email address, the date you signed up and the country Cloudflare reports for your connection. That’s it.
It’s kept in our own database on Cloudflare, not with a mailing service. We use it only to tell you about Spidor’s launch and major releases, and we never sell or share it. Every email we send has a way to unsubscribe, or email us and we’ll delete your address.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you.
